popular Market Town with a busy Street Market on Fridays held in the
substantial market square famous for its gothic memorial. A haven for
walkers, this is also the starting point of the Cleveland Way National
Trail and the Ebor Way. Spectacular historic sites are a short walk
away. These include HELMSLEY CASTLE, DUNCOMBE PARK, RIEVAULX ABBEY and
RIEVAULX TERRACE & TEMPLES. |

Recently refurbished two
bedroom Cottage in the old part of Helmsley close to all the amenities,
Fleur de Lys was awarded the Prince of Wales Feathers for its pottery
and shop in the early C20th. |

Downstairs
the open-plan design is light and spacious, enabling food preparation
whilst talking to your friends in the labour-saving kitchen
(dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, extractor fan, gas hob and
electric oven). A laundry service is available by the helpful owner who
lives next door and has a telephone for emergencies. |

the two double bedrooms feature a double and a kingsize bed, all of
good, clean quality and new carpets throughout. |

OUR LOCATION: From the Market Square of Helmsley, take the A170 towards Scarborough. Within 200 yards of the mini roundabout, take the First Right into Pottergate. Ignoring the new housing, Fleur de Lys is the Third Cottage on the Left, being the last property of the first block of three houses. Turn Left into the Drive. The front door and car port are at the back. |
